Who doesn't love a traditional oyster tabby home in the lowcountry?? This home is situated on an oversized lot with irrigation system, overlooking the entire stretch of the 7th Fairway of the Crooked Oaks golf course. The previous owners purchased half of the lot next door and incorporated it into their property so that there will never be a neighbor next door giving lots of privacy! When you approach the front of the home, you are welcomed by the classics: slate walkway and stairs, wrought iron railings, oyster tabby stucco, and columns. As soon as you walk through the front door, you are blown away by the incredible views ahead and all of the architectural details that definitely don't go unnoticed. The formal dining room has a tray ceiling and beautifulbay window and is just off the kitchen for ease of entertaining. The living room also has a tray ceiling, gas fireplace with custom mantel and marble surround, and lighting for artwork. All of the main living areas have gorgeous oak flooring. The best part of this house is the expansive sunroom, added in 2016, with double sliding "multi-glide glass wall doors" that, when both opened, make you feel like you are right outside with a 12 foot opening!! These double sliders basically make a wall of windows, and with skylights just above it, this room is filled with an abundance of light. On the other side of the sunroom is a large sitting room with fabulous pitched ceiling and white beams. This part of the room also overlooks the fairway and has a gas fireplace with custom mantel and marble surround. A flat screen TV is mounted just over the mantel, (which can also be hidden) why would you ever leave this room??? The master bedroom opens up to the sitting room via pocket doors, and has very large walk-in closets, dual sinks in the bathroom, along with a garden tub and tiled shower. This is the epitome of a master suite. There are mouldings throughout the entire home. The kitchen is very large and open with not only a dining area, but also a sitting area so that everyone can chat with the chef! The kitchen includes large island with gas cooktop, granite countertops, white cabinetry, plenty of storage, and built in desk for your computer or laptop! This floorpan is ideal because the master suite is on one side of the house and the two guest bedrooms and FROG are all on the other side of the house. It is nice to have the ability to be separated from guests. The two guest bedrooms have hardwood flooring and are joined by a jack and jill bathroom with skylight. This bathroom is so bright, you'll never have to turn on the lights! As you leave the guest rooms, you will find a laundry room and what one might call a "library hall" with built in bookshelves to house a collection of books and curiosities. This gorgeous hall is light-filled and has plantation shutters on the windows giving it a traditional and refined look. At the end of the hall is access to the garage but also the room over the garage which is one of the fun spots in this house. It is equipped with full wet bar, granite countertops, mirrored backsplash, bar shelving, under counter refrigerator, and wine refrigerator. This room is so huge, that it is home to an office desk, dining table and chairs, and a large sitting area with TV. This is a super fun spot to entertain. Guests will love having this area in which to relax. It has a vaulted ceiling and has natural wood shiplap. If you step outside of the house, you have tons of outdoor space on the expansive, open deck which has room for lounge furniture, a dining area, and fire pit. There is a door just off the kitchen which is perfect for a grilling spot. This home has it all and with it being mostly single level, it would suit just about anybody!!! Roof was replaced in 2016 along with the sunroom addition, and several new windows.
